Aerodrome Bay
This room is named after an area in Gariepdam.
This room is named after the Aerodrome bay in the main dam. The bay lies north of Sonop Island. It is a safe bay for sailing if the dam is 58% and fuller. Near the western banks of the bay one can on a clear day still see the ruins of a farm stead under the water.
The bay is named after the airfield which is situated on the western banks of the bay. We have named this room after the bay because from your doorstep one can clearly see the northern shores of this bay.

This room is named after the so called “Porcupine Passage” which is a thoroughfare from the main dam to Muddplain and Springbokdam. It is an extremely dangerous route for sailing with hazardous koppies and rocks which lies just below the surface of the water.
We have named the room after this passage in the dam because the passage leading to the entrance of your room has in a strange sense a resemblance to this famous part of Gariep Dam.
Pams Bay Room
The Pams bay room is a double room (room with a standard double bed) and has an en-suite bath and shower.

Pams Bay
This room is named after an area in Gariepdam.
This room is named after Pams bay, which is one of the safest bays in the main dam and is the best place to anchor overnight. It is protected against the main prevailing winds by the surrounding koppies and cliffs and has one of the most beautiful natural beaches of Gariep Dam. The bay is named after the wife of the first commodore of the Free State Yacht Club, Pamela Clark.
We have named this room after the bay because the mountains of Donkerkloof which lies north-west from your doorstep has a resemblance to the koppies and cliffs of Pams bay. The open space of the little valley leading to the Donkerkloof mountains also reflects on the open natural beaches of Pams bay.
